(Jan se Jan Tak - Covid Avoidance at the Last Leg)
Jan-CALL Abhiyan is a tele-calling campaign with an aim to build knowledge of people on right practices to avoid transmission of COVID-19. Initiated by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and District Inter Agency Group (DIAG) Solan with EarthJust (Member, DIAG Solan) and Doers (Member, DIAG Shimla), the program covers preventive measures with focus on 3 thematic areas- (1) Right Definition and Understanding of COVID-19 (2) Right Practices for Prevention and (3) Myths Busting on COVID-19 Measures and re-skilling (if required) on First-Aid.
 
The initiative works on a '1-to-10' mass contact program relying on the services of Volunteers who are interested in propagating highly crucial information related to COVID-19. The trainer/volunteer makes a call to anyone he/she wants to and shares the content via google PPT/phone call and enrolls him/her as a volunteer; thereby building a chain.
